What is Feng-Shui?
Feng-Shui is an ancient art about harmony in human life, creating a happy home and a workplace. It may enrich our western culture and help us to understand many of life's mysteries and puzzles.
Feng-Shui originates from China (the ancient Empire of the Centre) and its formation is marked by many conflicts. From more than hundred of different schools seven of them received the highest recognition. Today teaching of those schools is used by all the Feng-Shui experts in its simplified form or as a combination.
In our practice we use teaching of the following four schools:
- School of shape (form)
- School of compass
- School of intuitive Feng-Shui
- School of Pa Kua and five elements
Each of the above schools is used for a particular area of our interest, be it understanding of complicated relationships around us, selecting suitable place for a new home, design and layout of home or workplace, selecting the most suitable materials and colours for our home, garden design etc. The art of Feng-Shui has its impact on many areas of our life.
The pillars of Feng-Shui:
- The whole teaching is based on the flow of CHI energy which is ever present, all around us. Its source is the constant dynamic change of energies Yin and Yang. The amount and the quality of the CHI energy have direct effect on our health and vitality.
- The element pentagram - a universal system which determines the life element of a person, influences harmony between people, harmony of space, provides help in prevention and also treatment according to the traditional Chinese medicine.
- Pa Kua scheme - another universal system, which helps to identify deeper causes of problems in our lives, by reviewing the microcosm in which we live - its rooms, work table etc. Individual objects, their position and their existing status in a comprehensive way testify of the quality of our lives, of the true causes of their problems or illnesses.
- The time factor - everything around us is in constant movement, the life of people, but also our planet and the whole universe take place in different time cycles, and each of these cycles has its specific energy. A significant part consists of traditional Chinese astrology and cosmology, arising from long-time accurate observation of nature and of celestial events by ancient scholars.
