First of all let me underline that there is no "perfect" and integrated textbook on the market as yet which would cover all the parts necessary for practising Feng Shui in everyday life. Nevertheless, I do appreciate some books more than others. Let me present a few of them:

Simon Brown - Feng Shui Basics

We recommend this book mainly at our Feng Shui courses as it describes the same historical and philosophical foundations, uses the school of 5 elements and 8 energies, and it is a practical guidebook. Unlike the author, I consider all the 8 cardinal points equivalent and equal as far as their influence on a man is concerned.

Kwan Lau - Feng Shui - The Art of Living

The book contains valuable data on the origin and development of Feng Shui; it describes the school of 9 stars, 8 entrances and the Pa Kua method.

Lam Kam Tchuen - Feng Shui Guidebook

Extremely comprehensive and graphic book explaining the creation and laws of the CHI energy flow, it is based above all on the eldest of the Feng Shui schools - the school of shape and form.

Gill Hale - Feng Shui Practical Guidebook

Quite detailed book, printed in the A5 and A4 formats, containing a variety of pictures and photos, it is based on the east-west system and the school of 5 elements, it provides sufficient amount of good and practical advices.

David Daniel Kennedy - Feng Shui for Everyone

Rather detailed (400 pages) guidebook containing plenty of practical advices and recommendations, it is based mainly on the school of 5 elements and the Pa Kua method.

Angela Thompson - Harmony around Us

This book contains wide range of specific measures to create harmonic home and workplace; it is based on the school of 5 elements and the Pa Kua method.

Jose Armilla - Feng Shui for Your Life

The author uses specific events from the lives of the celebrities and well-known happenings to demonstrate the background where the Feng Shui has played its role in timing and preparing important meetings etc.
